The Actor (Tim Roth) is having no reception, low battery and almost a mental breakdown, while trying to call his neighbors and 911.
The cellphone needed to act accordingly.
This was done with Pastor Alvarado and the Art Department for Funny Games Productions.

While on a visit during the summer of 2006 I collaborated with Sagi Stern and Noam Amir, who are also fans of Jenkins’s work, and who had to leave town because of the eruptions. We decided to situate sculptures of kids running away from rockets in the center of Tel-Aviv, our hometown, which is known as the quiet bubble of escapism in Israel.
We did not want to take a clear political stand or side, we were interested in seeing how people would react, and more than that, we were interested in experimenting with the viral spreading of our digital documentation over the Internet. It was amazing to see how this little project popped up in different blogs, and that people from around the world are reacting.
